I have had a few Veggieful followers contact me and ask what staples they should keep in their pantry. When you become Vegan, it may be difficult to do your first initial grocery shop. This is a great list. I just recently started using nutritional yeast and love it! It's so versatile, you can use it in sweet and savory dishes. Have you tried overnight oats? Nutritional yeast gives it a cookie dough flavor that is addictive! I love your blog and your cartoons are adorable!
ReplyDeleteHi Lauren. I LOVEEEE nutritional yeast. It adds the yummiest cheesey flavour to so many dishes. I really love it in pesto especially. I haven't made too many oat dishes... for breakfast every morning I have rolled oats but I haven't tried them overnight. My mum keeps pushing me to make granola and her overnight oats recipes. I am going to have to make them all soon and put them on Veggieful... she has sent so many to me :) Thank you so much!
DeleteUm I don't know what brand of worcestershire sauce you use that's vegan but last time I checked Lea & Perings has some sort of beef or something broth in it. Not Vegan or Vegetarian.
ReplyDeleteHello, I use any that are found at the vegan health food stores! Thanks.
DeleteWe recently purchased The Wizard's organic vegan Worchestershire sauce. Regular Worchestershire sauce contains anchovies. The Wizard's is made in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteHello! Thanks for that! There are also a couple of vegan Worchestershire sauces at Mrs Flannery's and I think even Go Vita! :)
