  1. LOVE your recipes and initiative; too few young ladies (and gentlemen for that matter) are taking on the healthy vegan lifestyle! I'm not a ful vegan but I'm definitely getting closer and closer everyday. Have been a vegeterian for 10 years and will never look back! Thanks you so much for all that you do and for the great inspiration....and for showing us all how to bake and make super fantastic food without taking that which was never intended for us:)

    1. Hello! Oh I didn't receive your last comment. Congrats on your change to veganism! I hope that it all works out for you. As long as you are eating a balanced diet filled with lots of fresh fruit, vegetables, grains and legumes you will be very healthy. Also, regular exercise is key with any lifestyle to ensure an optimum weight :) Good luck!

  9. I just discovered your site and am eager to try your recipes. Can you explain what nutritional yeast is? I live in Denmark and it is not always easy to find ingredients:-)

    1. Hello Eileen! Thanks for your comment. Check out our nutritional yeast page here: http://www.veggieful.com/2012/10/what-is-nutritional-yeast.html

You should be able to purchase it in your local health food store. If not, definitely online! You should try it... it is so delicious and quite cheesy!

  10. Hi Madison: I found your site by googling "vegan parmesan cheese" and I'm really excited to try yours! I'm new to veganism (2 months) and have really enjoyed making and eating all the delicious recipes I've found online, particularly from smaller sites/blogs like yours. On your recipe page, I love that the dessert category is the biggest of all the categories AND at the top! Sweets are my VICE! I look forward to trying a number of them, and also downloading your 2 ebooks. Thanks for helping to make veganism easy, fun and delicious! Ivy

  12. Relatively new to Veggieful - and vegan eating (3 months) - but it is now my #1 website for vegan recipes! Hurrah. :) I've had so many successes. Love your peanut-butter cups and the pesto. Nom nom nom!y My absolute favourite though? Your vegan cheese. So simple! And sooo delicious.

I am going to attempt the chowder recipe from your latest book today but as I can't have soy milk I'm hoping oat or nut milk will be an okay substitution... Fingers crossed!

Thanks for making my transition to a vegan lifestyle so tasty! ;)

  15. Hello Maddison

I am not vegan but one of my daughters who is vegetarian was found to be lactose intolerant. I was googleing for how to make bechamel sauce with soya when I came upon this gorgeous blog. My husband is egg intolerant so... the non egg nog was a find, I am 76 years old and I may yet become vegan! Thank you (3 times). Carmen
